IT Support Assistant

Atlantbh is looking for a skilled IT Support Assistant to join our team. Main duties for this position would be maintenance of computer and network equipment, providing Level 1 support within the office, and keeping track of IT assets, accessories and consumables.

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate who is:

• Experienced in technical support, test/troubleshooting skills, diagnosing, and solving issues onsite;
• Experienced in computer setup and installation (macOS, Windows, Linux);

• Able to troubleshoot hardware and peripherals issues;

• Able to maintain inventory database of all electronic equipment, parts, and supplies;

• Able to perform basic hardware repairs and/or arrange repairs with external partners;

• Familiar with basic network topologies (physical and logical) and has the ability to do proper interconnections between devices (appropriate vlan/subnet etc.);

• Skilled in supporting users with typical IT related office issues (office apps, printers, networking issues etc.);

• Organised and timely with tasks;

• Experienced in assisting with IT orientation for new and existing employees;

• Familiar with documenting issues (esp. repeating ones);

• Able to ensure that IT systems and controls are in place to comply with corporate policy and procedures to maintain compliance with PCI standards and other Corporate IT standards.
